As a yoga teacher who lives in Nashville, I like to be in the middle of the action… I mean who wouldn’t want that, right? That’s why I chose my apartment over living in a more traditional suburb.
Deadlines, meetings, improper posture (*ahem* slouching and hunching) sitting for long hours, typing, writing, texting, driving… all of these lead to one thing: stress. Whether it is physical or emotional, by the end of the day most of us are feeling stress somewhere in our bodies. And you don’t have to tell us, we know how difficult it can be to carve out time for a full yoga practice (however, it’s highly recommended). These poses are a great place to start if you’re restricted on time or simply want to hit the “reset” button during your workday.
